PBIS Information

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports is a Commonwealth of Virginia initiative to support positive academic and behavioral outcomes for all students. Students will see charts around the building outlining the behavioral expectations for each area of the school.  Teachers will be intentional about reviewing these expectations, showing students what it DOES and DOES not look like.  Students will be given behavior specific praise and periodic rewards for adhering to the expected behavior.  Each chart is called a matrix. The matrices are shown in the links below.
